Remembering Emily

Emily the Library Cat

Emily joined the staff of the Mystic & Noank Library in 1989. She found a home at the library among the books an abandoned kitten saved by a library patron, . A domestic tabby cat, Emily was blessed with a wonderful home and life.

We have a scrapbook of her life available in the Spicer Reading Room. Her many appearances in newspapers, magazines and books can be seen in the scrapbook.

She had a wonderful 17 years because of all the love and friendship that she received from all her admirers.
